This suktaa is said to be a jewel from/of the rig-vedaas for consecration of sins
committted due to dealings with the sinners knowingly and unknowingly in our
day-to-day life. This is chanted during varuna japaas and while taking bath invoking
gangaa and yamunaa ( river saraswati the invisible one )
